A good friend of mine, Toula, replied to one of my comments at her page with a list! A long one! (that listyou see below). Some sentences are funny some are not, but I agree to all and I guarantee you that is 100% truth!

- Also I added 4 more: The first 3 sentences and the last one ...of course! All the rest are her words.

I really enjoyed it, so I like to share it with you all.
So, read carefully:

Why Do We Love Being Greek?

1. Because we are European Champions in Soccer.
2. Because we are European Champions in Basketball.
3. Because Paparizou (singer) made us Eurovision Champions.
4. Because we buy whole watermelons and not in slices.
5. Because we buy whole lambs and not in pieces.
6. Because nights in Greece finish in the morning.
7. Because we take our coffee slowly, while smoking and not in "shots".
8. Because flirting is our national hobby.
9. Because sex is our national sport.
10. Because we always moan about the public sector and everyone seeks to get a job in it.
11. Because we are not puritans.
12. Because we are not racists.
13. Because we cheat openly, without trying to hide it.
14. Because we go out almost every night even if we are penniless.
15. Because we know how to spend better that we know how to save.
16. Because we never visit others empty handed.
17. Because there is no way to explain to foreigners what is "kapsoura" (burning desire for someone).
18. Because in Greece family is still something valuable.
19. Because we do not share the petrol with those we take in our cars.
20. Because we always make it, albeit in the last moment.
21. Because we were "slaves" (Greece was occupied  by the Ottomans for 400 years) yet never bring that up as an excuse for our current state.
