They were really lucky, because Greece, and her navy, those dark times between 1451-1821 was occupied by the ottomans and she was struggling for freedom against islam, a freedom who came in 1829 finally.. If Greece was independent those times, well, I'm sorry to say this, but all those great discoveries would belong to us!!!! :O
Amazing huh?!?!?Nikos Deja Vuhttp://n1k0s.multiply.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4899744984407952881.post-15555335415560422372011-12-19T22:32:07.000+02:002011-12-19T22:32:07.000+02:00Anyway, the last 30 years the Hellenic navy rules ...Anyway, the last 30 years the Hellenic navy rules again all over the planet it is (was and will be) the number one force....Nikos Deja Vuhttp://n1k0s.multiply.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4899744984407952881.post-75977374296662897252011-12-19T22:24:17.000+02:002011-12-19T22:24:17.000+02:00Just for the history, did you know that the Greek ...Just for the history, did you know that the Greek navy NEVER, i repeat, NEVER lost a battle, or changed flags, through the 5000+ years of the Hellenic shipping??
Instead, the Greek army has been defeated many times, and some of those times were fatal for the Greek history, land and country..Nikos Deja Vuhttp://n1k0s.multiply.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4899744984407952881.post-45319410664764428232011-12-19T21:02:58.000+02:002011-12-19T21:02:58.000+02:00Thanks a lot.
