Σε ένα έθνος που συνεχώς παρακμάζει αυτοί οι 2 νέοι δείχνουν το δρόμο...
Μετά τις δολοφονίες των δύο νέων επισκέφτηκαν το νησί και τους συγγενείς των ηρώων ο Κ.Σημίτης και άλλοι πολιτικοί από την Ελλάδα. Το κοριτσάκι του Τ.Ισαάκ βάπτισε η Ελληνική Κυβέρνηση ως ένδειξη αναγνώρισης της θυσίας του μεγάλου αυτού ήρωα. Δύο μήνες μετά η αστυνομία εξέδωσε εντάλματα σύληψης των δολοφώνων του Σ.Σολωμού και Τ.Ισαάκ. Επίσης ζητήθηκε βοήθεια από την Interpol.
Ο Τάσος Ισαάκ και ο Σολωμός Σολωμού πέρασαν στην αιωνιότητα πλάι στο Λεωνίδα, τον Κολοκοτρώνη, τον Αυξεντίου και τον κάθε Έλληνα που έδωσε τη ζωή του για την πατρίδα....

02. Οργιά: 1.83 m, one fathom.
03. Ο πρώτος: on Greek ships, the first engineer (not the first officer, who is called γραμματικός).
04. Γραδάρω: measure pH of the water in the boiler of the ship's steam engine (as here); also, measure the salinity of the water when the ship navigates the mouth of a river.
05. Σμαρώ: Smaro is short for Smaragda (the name Kavvadias's girl when he lived in Kalaramia)

Ήταν 26 Ιουλίου του 1822 όταν έλαβε χώρα η Μάχη στα Δερβενάκια, μία από τις σημαντικότερες μάχες του αγώνα της Ανεξαρτησίας, στην οποία διαφάνηκε η στρατηγική ιδιοφυΐα του Θεόδωρου Κολοκοτρώνη.
Στις αρχές Ιουλίου του 1822, ένας νέος κίνδυνος ανεφάνη για την Επανάσταση, με την κάθοδο στην Πελοπόννησο ισχυρής τουρκικής δύναμης υπό τον ικανότατο Μαχμούτ Πασά, γνωστότερο ως Δράμαλη. Ο Σουλτάνος, σε πλεονεκτική θέση μετά την εξολόθρευση του Αλή Πασά, είχε στρέψει την προσοχή του στους επαναστατημένους Έλληνες. Χωρίς να συναντήσει την παραμικρή αντίσταση στην Ανατολική Στερεά Ελλάδα, ο Δράμαλης με 25.000 άνδρες προέλασε ταχύτατα και στις 6 Ιουλίου στρατοπέδευσε στην Κόρινθο. Βασικός του στόχος ήταν η ανακατάληψη της Τριπολιτσάς και η κατάπνιξη της Επανάστασης στον Μοριά με τη βοήθεια του στόλου, που θα κατέπλεε στον Αργολικό Κόλπο.
Παρακούοντας τους τοπικούς τούρκους ηγέτες, οι οποίοι τον συμβούλευσαν να κάνει ορμητήριό του την Κόρινθο κι έχοντας μεγάλη εμπιστοσύνη στις δυνάμεις του, ο Δράμαλης διέταξε τον στρατό του να προελάσει προς το Ναύπλιο για να λύσει την πολιορκία του. Αφού κατέλαβε τον Ακροκόρινθο, έφθασε ανενόχλητος στο Άργος και στρατοπέδευσε έξω από την πόλη στις 12 Ιουλίου. Οι επαναστάτες πιάστηκαν στον ύπνο και δεν μπόρεσαν να υπερασπίσουν τα μεταξύ Κορίνθου και Άργους στενά, από τα οποία διήλθε η τουρκική στρατιά.
Μόλις μαθεύτηκε ότι ο Δράμαλης με τον στρατό του πλησιάζει στο Άργος, επικράτησε μεγάλη σύγχυση στους Έλληνες, ιδιαίτερα μάλιστα όταν πληροφορήθηκαν τη λύση της πολιορκίας του Ναυπλίου. Κυβέρνηση και βουλευτές αναχώρησαν πανικόβλητοι από το Άργος για τους Μύλους και από εκεί στα πλοία.
Ο Δράμαλης δεν μπορούσε να προχωρήσει προς την Τριπολιτσά χωρίς να έχει εξασφαλισμένα τα νώτα του. Έχασε πολύτιμο χρόνο με την πολυήμερη πολιορκία του φρουρίου του Άργους και οι άνδρες του εγκλωβίστηκαν εκεί, έχοντας εξαντλήσει τα αποθέματα τροφών τους και χωρίς να έχουν δυνατότητα ανεφοδιασμού. Συνειδητοποιώντας τη δύσκολη κατάσταση, ο Δράμαλης αποφάσισε να επιστρέψει στην Κόρινθο, ελπίζοντας σε βοήθεια από τον Χουρσίτ Πασά της Λάρισας, τον Γιουσούφ Πασά της Πάτρας ή από τον στόλο.
Το σχέδιο υποχώρησης του Δράμαλη έγινε αντιληπτό από τον Κολοκοτρώνη και παρά τις διαφωνίες των προκρίτων, έσπευσε να καταλάβει τις στενές διαβάσεις που οδηγούσαν από το Άργος στην Κόρινθο, με 2.500 άνδρες. Δεν θα άφηνε για δεύτερη φορά τις στενωπούς αφύλακτες, όπως είχε γίνει κατά την προέλαση του Δράμαλη.
Στις 26 Ιουλίου 1822 στα στενά των Δερβενακίων, κοντά στη Νεμέα, οι Τούρκοι υπέστησαν δεινή ήττα, χάνοντας πάνω από 3.000 άνδρες. Στη μάχη εκτός του Κολοκοτρώνη διακρίθηκαν ο Δημήτριος Υψηλάντης, ο Παπαφλέσσας και ιδιαιτέρως ο Νικήτας Σταματελόπουλος, γνωστότερος ως Νικηταράς, που έλαβε το προσωνύμιο Τουρκοφάγος Ο Δράμαλης και οι εναπομείναντες άνδρες του προσπάθησαν να διαφύγουν την επομένη από την κλεισούρα του Αγιονορίου. Όμως, ο Νικηταράς, ο Υψηλάντης και ο Παπαφλέσσας ήταν κι εκεί για να προκαλέσουν νέες βαριές απώλειες στον Δράμαλη στις 28 Ιουλίου.
Ο υπερήφανος στρατηλάτης, που είχε αρκετές συμπάθειες μεταξύ των ελλήνων οπλαρχηγών για το ήπιο του χαρακτήρος του και τις ικανότητές του, ήταν ένα ανθρώπινο ράκος, αναλογιζόμενος τις συνέπειες από την οργή του Σουλτάνου. Με τα υπολείμματα του στρατού του έφθασε στην Κόρινθο, όπου στα τέλη Οκτωβρίου πέθανε από την απογοήτευσή του. Ο θριαμβευτής Κολοκοτρώνης ανακηρύχθηκε από την Κυβέρνηση Αρχιστράτηγος της Πελοποννήσου, κατ' απαίτηση των οπλαρχηγών. Η Επανάσταση όχι μόνο είχε διασωθεί, αλλά είχε αποκτήσει ισχυρά θεμέλια, χάρη στο σχέδιο και την τακτική του Γέρου του Μοριά...

A video obtained by Cybercast News Service shows Kosovo muslim UCK men, dressed in military uniforms, desecrating and destroying an Orthodox Christian Serbian church as one of the men plays a stringed instrument and the rest sing. Stained glass images of saints are destroyed, pews overturned, and the Cross shot at with a machine gun. After that the Albanian jihadist muslim mob who was waiting outside the church destroyed and burnt the church.. Can you believe that those pictures became from the Heart of the EUROPE in 21th CENTURY?
