Stratos Dionisiou - Vrehei Fotia (Raining fire)

The best scene from the 60's Greek film:
Ορατότης Μηδεν (Zero View)
(Below ALL film in ..10 minutes!)

Παρακάτω Video Below:
Στράτος Διονυσίου - Βρέχει φωτιά στη στράτα μου
Stratos Dionisiou - Vrehei fotia sti strata mou

Greek Lyrics:

English Translation:

Η ζωή
εδώ τελειώνει...

It is raining fire on my way
fire that has burnt me
for my poor youth
nobody will cry
Life, life is ending here
my light is extinguishing
and the soul, the soul like a swallow
is parting from my lips

Bitter wave on my prow
and the sails torn
not even a brother, my boy
did care about you

Life
is ending here...

  1. Film: Oratotis miden (Zero View) - My last words:

A defining moment in Greek cinema (60's).

'' A big ship explosion and a sinkage, all dead, except Nikos Kourkoulos..
Who is responsible? The captain? the staff? or the ship owners?
A big trial, and a judgement. Positive or Negative is not really important..
    What is for him?
    A new life?
    Or the final end?

Is his life ending here as the song says? ''

Nikos Kourkoulos (RIP) in the best performance of his career, returns to his apartment only to find his landlady has piled up all his possessions out in the yard.
    He is unemployed...

Stratos Dionysiou sings the zebekiko "Vrexei fotia sti strata mou", the original and best interpretation of the classic song.

Nikos Foskolos wrote the excellent screenplay and also directed.

SINCE NIKOS FOSKOLOS (Finos Films director) IS A GOOD STORY TELLER
AND NIKOS KOURKOULOS A GREAT ACTOR, I AM SURE THIS FILM WOULD HAVE MADE A GREAT HIT IF IT HAD BEEN MADE IN HOLLYWOOD..

    Nikos Deja Vu
